Training course promoted by the Adecco Foundation and by UNHCR for operators

” MEP : MODELING EMPLOYABILITY PROCESS FOR REFUGEES” is a project promoted by the Adecco Foundation and UNHCR   for the process of work inclusion of persons holding international protection .

“MEP: MODELING EMPLOYABILITY PROCESS FOR REFUGEES” is a project promoted by the Adecco Foundation for Equal Opportunities and UNHCR aimed at consolidating a development methodology for the labor inclusion process of persons holding international protection.

In particular, the T2 action of the MEP project is aimed at promoting the employment of women refugees in vulnerable conditions. It foresees capacity building activities aimed at operators / insiders / psychologists / educators in the hospitality sector for the dissemination and transfer of the group methodological guidance model already experimented in the Domus project in 2018.

The capacity building activities are aimed at a staff of 16 operators from associations, NGOs, cooperatives, public bodies and reception centers that follow the protection holders (in particular women) in the process of insertion. The training courses can be followed in Rome (starting April 8) or in Milan (starting May 7). The entire training course (except travel and accommodation costs) will be charged to the project.

To participate, a project sustainability is required, understood as the ability of the operator to be able to use the acquired methodology both to train other operators (train the trainers and increase the capacity bulding) and in terms of dissemination / dissemination of the path for women with protection.

Each group of operators involved will have the opportunity to participate in the following initiatives:

– Group participated interview: aimed at co-building the training intervention (Community Based Approach elements)

– 30-hour group training: aimed at transferring the accompanying methodology to work inclusion through modules dedicated to the management of narrative group orientation, to the skills assessment, to the corporate partnership, to the skill audit;

– Experimentation in the field of the skills acquired through co-conducting in conjunction with the teacher a group orientation path dedicated to women refugees in a vulnerable condition;

  •  Application of the balance of competences with coaching activities by the teacher;
  •  Inclusion coaching
